Ten Kate Protein Technologies - Plant Fire Update
On 3 June 2025 – an explosion and fire severely damaged Ten Kate Protein Technologies processing plant and warehouse in Ter Apelkanaal. Though thankfully no one was injured and the adjacent fat-melting facility is expected to resume operations within a few days.

Ten Kate Protein Technologies plant at Groenlo was not affected and continues normal production. We will keep all stakeholders updated as the situation evolves.
