Ten Kate has started producing Lard Oil.
The production of Lard Oil has started in 2009. Pig fat is a mixture of different fat fractions with a high and a low melting point. Bij mechanical separation of these fractions one gets a fraction with a high melting point and a fraction with a low melting point (either higer and lower than ordinary pig fat). The end products are suitable for human consumption.
